Course Profile: Solution Focused Approaches (1 Day)
Solution focused approaches have proved to be very successful with a range of issues and with workers struggling to get through to people they work with. It is an approach that focuses on the present and future rather than the past and believes that people often already have the answers they need. The solution focused approach uses respectful curiosity to invite the client to envision their preferred future and then together start attending to any moves towards it whether these are small increments or large changes. The course will be skills based and introduce the techniques, questions and tools to use which will help to establish and maintain positive relationships and promote positive change.
